At a glance
86 cities on the map, plus the Capital and its 4 Ballistas. The higher the level, the stronger the bonus.
The city goes to the alliance with the most points, not the one landing the final hit.
Only they can declare or schedule a war.
What a city gives
Every city held gives its bonus to all alliance members.
| Level | Alliance bonus |
|---|---|
| 1 | Food or Wood Production +5% |
| 2 | Coin Production or Gathering Speed +5% |
| 3 | Production (Food, Wood or Coins) +10% |
| 4 | Production or Gathering Speed +15% |
| 5 | Production or Gathering Speed +20% |
| 6 | Research or Construction Speed +20%, or Training +5% |
| Capital | March Speed +10% |
The first capture of a city also gives rewards: to participants (contribution points, Teleporter, construction speedups, resources, Gems) and, on a smaller scale, to every member.
Declaring war
A neighboring city
With no city, start with any level 1 city. After that, the target must border an alliance city. Losing the linking city can cut off access.
Limits
One target at a time, 3 declarations per day (2 in season), at least 20 members and a free city slot. Canceling does not refund the declaration.
Required text
The declaration text box must be filled in or you can't confirm. Any text works.
During the attack
- 100 damage to defending troops = 1 point. 1 durability removed = 5 points.
- When durability hits zero, the city goes to the alliance with the best total score.
- Mass Charge: sends one squad from each eligible offline member (5-minute cooldown). You can opt out in Settings.
- A captured city gets 24 hours of protection.
City Lord and Knights
The alliance leader appoints one City Lord per city, and 1 to 5 Knights depending on its level. They can issue daily Decrees and weekly Tasks that fill the City Funds, then spend those funds in the City Lord Shop (speedups, feasts, gifts).
