Building your squad

1

Pick a main faction

Look at the UR heroes you have already built up and aim for 4 or 5 from the same faction. The hero priorities guide lists the best of each faction.

2

3 + 2 is a good compromise

If you don't have five good heroes from one faction, three from one and two from another already give 10%.

3

Remember the Lord

Since the Lord counts as any faction, they can complete a formation and raise the bonus.

Faction counters

Each faction takes 20% less damage from another one: Tribe from Legion, Legion from Ranger, Ranger from Tribe. If you know the enemy squad, pick the faction that counters it.

Placing your five heroes

PositionWho goes there
Front leftYour best tank: hit first
Front rightYour second tank
Back leftYour toughest damage hero
Back centerYour main damage hero: targeted last
Back rightAnother damage hero

This targeting order applies to basic attacks, not skills, and the side can flip on defense.
